De*****ing customers with false advertising

Shame on you Checkers Hyper. Saw this patio set advertised for R2499.99, but when we got to the till it scanned at R2999.99, you only pay advertised price if you swipe the X-ray savings card. So the is how you de***** your customers and get them to use your card. Surely you should pay advertised price irrespective and if you swipe your card then get the Xtra discount. When querying this with store manager I was told “I don’t know what the issue is you are paying the price advertised”. If this is their attitude then beware, honestly if it was not such a large ticket item I probably would not even have picked it up so how many times and with how many people have they done this....
