De*****ed at Shoprite Eldorado Park with my children's grant money

On the 7/3/22 I went to withdraw my children's grant at the Shoprite in Eldorado Park. A cashier by the name Katlego Mashele was at the withdrawal point to assist me and I asked her to check the balance and give me the entire amount. She gave me R1891 with a receipt reflecting that amount, and my first thought was to query the shortage at the SASSA office. I got a response from them on the 4/4/22 that my balance the previous month was R2718 and the receipt I was given at Shoprite was not even mine.

An official from SASSA accompanied me to the Shoprite to query the withdrawal, and the manager actually printed a copy of the receipt I was supposed to get confirming that the receipt I got was not mine. The manager advised me that in order to get the rest of my money I was supposed to open a case against the cashier first and then the investigation would proceed. I confirmed this with their customer care, and a lady by the name Alicia told me the investigation should only take 48 hours. They received a case number from me on the 5/4/22. Today is the third day and nobody has called me to inform me about what's happening and how I will get the rest of my money. Please assist me I am at my wit's end!!!
