Deceiving and lying to customers

Checkers advertised specials in the media. I needed the toilet rolls 'SnowSoft 18 pack' for R69.99.I went to Eastgate brnch on 3 occassions and each time the entire shelf was empty. When I requested a 'rain-check' I was told by the customer service desk that they can only issue it on the last day of the special.So I made another trip(4th time)on 8Nov2015-last day of the special-to buy the toilet rolls and again the shelf was empty.So I went to the customer service desk and requested 6 packs.They refused and told me that I was only allowed 2 packs and raincheck valid for 2 months.Co-incidetally I was in the area on Monday and popped into Checkers Eastgate again and was surprised to find the shelves fully stocked at the higher price, R89.99 ... conventiently a few hours after the special ended. I have always been a loyal customer of Checkers and I am doubting if my loyality for the Checkers brand will last long with this type of marketing and behavior.I am investigating other options to bring this practice to the fore and create visibility to warn other consumers of this type of business practice.
