<p>In December, I purchased groceries. I took a pocket of potatoes marked R49,99. Upon scanning at the till it read R54,99. The till operator argued with me that R49,99 is the kilo price and R54,99 is the pocket price. After a few minutes of this stupidity, I brought the chalk board from the veg display and showed the operator. the superviser then came and apologised and rectified the discrepancy. I told her that at 15:14 pm you are correcting my price, yet you sold the potatoes to 1000's of other unsuspecting customers for R5,00 more. She apologised further wanting to ghet rid of me now making a big noise. Whilst walking off I told my wife to check the till slip. She then noticed that we were charged for 3 jeyes 250g (R36,99ea) when we only purchased two. After more frustration we were refunded for 1. It brings to light how *********** the staff at Checkers Hyper are including the fact that customers are being ********** in various ways. This probably amounts to 1000's of rands on a daily basis adding to profit of mafia style chain stores. Extremely disgusted. No apology is going to settle this matter.</p>
