Please can you explain to me why the consumer must pay R24.79 for a 2lt Douglas dale milk at Checkers when if we go to Pick n Pay we pay R21.99 for a 2lt? As per a lot of consumers out there Checkers is supposed to be cheaper than Pick n Pay and others, I am beginning to doubt this. When i brought this to Checkers customer care attendtion in December last year the price quickly decreased. And now in January you push the price of this milk back to what it was. Is it right that wholesalers can have different prices for the same product, who justifies this?

Food prices are just escalating every month without justification. It is absolutley shocking when the petrol price increases food prices increase but yet when the petrol price decreases food prices remain the same.
