Around may, I went to the Menlyn Shopping Centre and purchased a number of magazines. Upon return some of the items at the Waverly shop, I was met with antagonistic managers who very unhelpful and refused to provide the shop policy guiding their behaviour. they refused to return the magazines and directed that I take them to Menlyn. on my return to Menlyn, the manager who was present when I made the purchases accused me of lying even though I pointed out that he has access to the security cameras for him to verify my presence in the shop on that. he said that I have to consult head office because he cannot refund me for magazines that should not have been on the shelves because they are expired. I still have the magazines and would like a refund, an pology and some compensation for the numerous rounds I made with the shops with the very bad and surprising behaviour by shop managers because of the lack of return policy on checkers invoices.

my need for consolation is warranted because yesterday, I met with a Master Modiba at the Eastgate Mall shopping centre who accused me of lying when the price indicated on the shelf was R99.00 and not R199.00 as indicated on the system. This very bad situation was rescued by Amanda Mthembu as the cashier Patricia Mhlanga was not helpful and has a bad attitude towards customers.

The time on my invoice is 19:25 with no other reference that I can point. I am not mentioning other matters because, I think the avbove is adequate for some investigation to be done. I was assisted by MiWay consultants to recover my access to this platform. Their way of working is to be applauded and should be emulated by other suppliers so that customer service is preeminent in the manner in which cutomers are treated.

Phelelani Mthetho
