CUSTOMERS SHUD PACK FOR THEMSELVES

I was buying some few items yesterday @checkers cresta express till plus minus 8items I paid and after paying a cashier called another customer without packing my stuff and I asked her why call another customer when m stl waiting and u haven't even pack my stuff in a plastic?her RESPOND was "We not suppose to pack for customers in this till".my question is:aren't cashiers supposed to pack for customers???maybe m wrong.
