Customer Service & Gift Cards

I had a very distasteful experience at checkers komosdal. I bought a few items and asked to top up my gift card but to my surprise I had to make two separate transactions and money was debited but gift card not loaded. The cashier was unapologetic inclusive of the staff and the manager Phumzile was so rude. This issue took several hours until the store was about to close and still wasn’t resolved. We had to contact the head office for this to be resolved.

The customer service here sucks and none of the three employees involved were apologetic.
