Customer service

My experience with checkers in Sun Valley Mall was off to a rocky start. I sent my husband to purchase a few items and when he got home we noticed that the melrose cheese spread we bought was expired. Needless to say i wasn't impressed at all. I contacted to store as my husband would only be able to go back 2 weeks later. I spoke to the store manager by the name of Wayne who wanted absolutely nothing to do with my query as he was going on leave but he mentioned that his stand in is a gentleman by the name of Gary, so that he would know whats happening when we would go back after 2 weeks. When my husband went back to return the item Gary knew absolutely nothing about the melrose..... But what i can say he went above and beyond in sorting out my issue. He replaced the items and also Expressed his apologies for the inconvenience and i appreciate this because when you work in the public sector especially retail your days can be very challenging but Gary i thank you for your exceptional customer service and friendliness. Well done checkers Sun Valley well done!!! 👏👏👏
