Customer complaint

Disappointed in service I received I was at checkers Virginia doing my groceries today upon payment my card was declined and transaction taken off my account I was then requested to retry and submit payment which I did and it was declined but reflected as transaction taken off on my account I was then told to fill in documents and advised that I will only be assisted once their head office is able to check the account which will. E only tomorrow and they will call me I was requested to swipe again at another kiosk which at this point my funds where running low in my account from having to re swipe I then swiped and transaction was successful my concern about this issue is what if I didn't have the amount to pay as it reflected as taken off on my account surely some agreement should be met when it comes to things like this also having my other debit orders going off tonight raises a major concern as I now am left with insufficient funds for this to happen surely some case report should be available to show other creditors of the inconvenience caused what I also noticed is a liquid substance over the swiping machine which could have caused the problem the manner in which this was dealt with was time consuming I had to take a photo of my information as security to myself I am highly disappointed with outcome of what has happened
