Complaints for a rotten product

I was at checkers pavilion mall on the 11/03/2023 to buy some groceries I bought and mighty meats polony 2kg. I would like to understand why such a big brand store is selling rotten items. Polony is still in my fridge because I stay 30minits away from the mall I was there to do other things and it not easy for me to go back and return in unless it a weekend cz I'm working I need feedback regarding this issue because I spend a lot of money to buy this rotten product.
