Checkers Zevenwacht - Very bad service

Yesterday afternoon (17/01/2024) at 16H00 I bought some items at Checkers Zevenwacht in Kuilsriver. The store was extremely busy and only three (3) cashiers available (although there are 10 paypoints). On the express 10 or less items side there were only one (1) cashier working from four (4) available paypoints. The row to pay had more than 50 customers waiting and I spent over 40 minutes waiting to pay. There are no designated cashiers for senior citizens and people over the age of 60 had to stand in line for such a long time. The store was however full of staff walking around in the isles and had more people running around collecting sixty 60 orders than cashiers on the tills. I overheard a conversation of two staff members where one person was asked to assist on the tills and she refused saying it was not her problem that the cashiers all took a break at the same time. I tried to call Checkers H/O while standing in line but no-one answered the switchboard. I took some pictures while standing in line as proof of my statement which is available upon request. Although Spar is further to drive to shop, I will rather shop where there is absolutely no frustrations of waiting in line for more than 40 minutes to pay for 10 items.
