CHECKERS XTRA SAVINGS R500 GIVEAWAY ****!!!!

Checkers R500 give away.

On the 23rd of Nov i received a sms stating that ive won R500 that has been reloaded onto my checkers extra savings card.

I went to the supermarket on the 24th or 25th and asked management if this was real. They said they are not sure, but some people have come in thay day with the same query and nevee returned so it must be real. I continued to so my shopping etc, swiped my card and the R500 went off no problem.

I then received a second sms on the 30th of November stating again that i had won R500 I went to checkers again, bought for R500, looked around for stuff to buy to make up the R500, just to get to the till to have the amount not go off. The Manager Dewald came and asked me if this was my first timw i said no its the second time. He said it had happened with a few people that day. He said he would escalate it. I phoned checkers on Thursday and they stated that there is a massive technical glitch that the IT department is working on, theu continued to confirm that the R500 is loaded on my card its just not going off. I phoned again Friday for a update as i had spent my last money for the month hoping the R500 would go off. This consultant again confirmed the R500 is loaded on my card. I asked that i get refunded and the voucher removed from my card. She stated she will mail her manager and phone me back the same day. I received a call this afternoon from checkers and spoke to a Vusiswe. She stated i already claimed my prize on the 25th, i stated that that was for the st sms and not the second.

Right now it looks like checkers is committing ***** by saying we won, forcing us to spend R500 then not giving the R500.. I am disgusted by checkers. I need answers asap
