Checkers Xtra Savings advertising

So Checkers have now introduced their Xtra Savings cards, which is great - well done on that. However, their false advertising kind of frustrates me. Last week I wanted to buy the Ariel laundry liquid and capsules deal that they advertised - "Buy ANY 2 for R100"... now as a customer (and also as someone who works in retail and with marketing), this says to me that I can buy the liquid AND the capsules and pay R100..... check the pamphlet... it says ANY 2 for R100..... but upon me checking my till slip after paying - I saw the discount was not activated(even though I swiped my xtra savings card)..... so asked the manager of the store to have a look, and I said this is false advertising, and then requested a refund because I had to wait almost half an hour to be assisted as well.... so I was fairly worked up as well. This is very disappointing because I was really adamant to buy into this deal. So Checkers - make sure your wording on your advertising is correct and makes sense to your customer. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with this.
