Checkers wouldn't pay for my injury from opening a bottle from their store and a checkers brand botyle

On the 10th of October 2023 I bought a bottle of flavoured water from checkers blue route mall Cape town and it's also a checkers brand EASTERN HIGHLANDS, it's a glass bottle. I went to my car and on that day it was quite hot so I opened the bottle and it shattered in my hand cutting my hand very deep. I went back inside checkers and spoke to the manager on duty named Grizelda. The staff and Grizelda was very helpful and gave me ointment and bandage. I knew I needed stitches but I had a zoom texture to attend so I only went to the doctor the next day. I then could not work for 5 days as I'm s CMT contractor. I couldnt drive cause it was my left hand. I could soap my face cloth to bath. I then put in a claim to checkers and was attended to by a lawyer called WENDY RIEKEN SENIOR ANALYST- CLAIMS ADVISORY for a company called MARSH PTY LTD. I sent her every letter picture and everything she asked for only to REFUSE TO PAY ME ANYTHING, EVEN MY DOCTOR'S BILL. Checkers has no compassion for the people that support them everyday.
