Checkers Tzaneen Lifetsyle Centre refused to sell me an extra plastic bag for groceries bought at their store.

I went to the checkers tzaneen lifestyle store to get some few things and I had those black checkers bag, to put my groceries in. The cashier asked me if I wanted a plastic bag, and I said no (because I brought along my carry bag). After packing my groceries in to the carry bag, I realized that I need an extra plastic bag, then I asked the cashier to ring one plastic bag for me & to my surprise; she refused and said: Checkers Head Office don't allow customers to buy plastic bags once they have paid for their groceries. She even called her manager to confirm her statement to me. Then I said ok.

But to my surprise, I went to Checkers hans van rensburg street in polokwane & they sold me a plastic bag after I paid for my groceries.

Now I want to hear from Checkers Holdings if this is how they want us customers to be treated at their stores?
