Checkers Sunward Park has mice and despite reporting this twice, they don't seem to be doing much about it

Checkers Sunward Park has mice and despite reporting this twice, they don't seem to be doing much about it. The first time I saw one around their butchery area. I informed one of the employees there and she chuckled, shrugged and said...oh, there's plenty! I then reported to a senior staff member who promised that they will look into it. That was last year some time. Three weeks ago, I bought rye bread there. Upon arriving home I found a hole on the bread, clearly showing that it was chewed through from the plastic into the bread by a mouse. A family member returned the bread for me and they reimbursed me. I demanded that they also reimburse my petrol for driving back as I felt that they deliberately ignored my initial report of having seen a mouse in the store. They paid the petrol amount. I am however unsettled by this experience as I work at an institution that has an account with Checkers and I must still go to Checkers for getting work stuff. Now the thought of entering any Checkers store nauseates me.
