Checkers Sunninghill

My experience was very bad at Checkers Sunninghill. I went to checkers sunninghill to buy gift cards worth of +- R24 on Monday 29 November. We entered the store around 13:46 and left 14:45. I understand that they want to follow procedures however, they need to train their staff starting from Marvin the Admin Manager. It seems as if they dont know what they were doing. Portia was all over the show cause she was told that she needs to call the bank and verify if I am the owner of the card since well I want to buy for +-R24k. She called FNB & ABSA for couple times without no luck. They only answered after few times trying. Eventually when they answered she didn't know what she was doing, going up and down cause she was asked questions she couldn't answer. Then I got ****ed and wanted to speak to the manager cause we have been waiting forever. Portia's colleague called the manager by the name of Phillemon. When he arrived he give us attitude and said he doesn't work for that department Marvin the admin manager should assist us and he walked away just like that. Eventually Marvin came back and took the phone from Portia and told her to start ringing the gift cards for us.

I dont mind the store to follow procedures, but they should have everything at hand. Contact details for all the banks, store code, and training must be done to avoid customers to wait for over an hour to be assisted. I was not valued as a customer.
