Checkers stamps not accepted at checkers Sea point

Checkers sea point in Cape Town opposite the shell garage.. Tried paying with checkers stamps and was told they do not accept stamps.. The teller was very rude and of no help.. Isn't the stamps are supposed to be accepted at all checkers stores..
