Checkers Springs Mall: DO NOT VISIT THIS BRANCH DURING PROMOTIONS. Branch Manager confirmed branch received limited quantities- sold out by 11h00

CHECKERS SPRINGS MALL: I advise all customers of Checkers not to waste their time, money or energy to go to Checkers Springs Mall, but instead go to Checkers Carnival Mall for Black Friday specials as the branch do not have enough stock of the advertised products. I will most definitely not even consider visiting Springs branch during the Heyday or any other promotion. I was at Springs Checkers at approximately 10:50. The following products on special were not available: brown sugar, cold drink, custard, Savlon, Skip, toilet paper, corn flakes, oil. I requested a rain check for items not on shelves. Mr. Eloff, branch manager, said no rain checks were allowed on Black Friday as it was not his fault Checkers head office only supp**** limited quantities to Springs. It seems that Checkers head office considers Springs customers as a lower priority as say Carnival Mall's customers, when goods are distributed to the different branches. If this is the case, then surely Checkers should classify shops in the media to ensure customers can go to a branch knowing that the branch can provide the advertised products. If I knew beforehand that this would be the situation at Springs branch, I would not waste my time, but go directly to Carnival Mall. In future I will not even consider going to Checkers Springs Mall for any promotional offers.
