Checkers spoilt products

I bought frozen fish fingers and nuggets and I made them, my son and I had them and we both experienced diarrhea and nausea it was pretty brutal for my 1-year-old son. We received medical care from a public clinic and when I reported the matter to checkers they required the medical cards and blood test I stated that we couldn't afford to go to a lab and get a blood test to prove that their product was the cause so I took the product back as weak as I was and I got no proper attention from the manager and they did no test on the product as the company to prove that their product is the cause. Months went by without getting any feedback and I called one of the managers to know the state of my case he said he'd enquire and get back to me which he never did so I reached out again to the complaints office and they sent an email asking me what do I expect from the company… Shouldnt the company know what to do in such case and why should I be the one who tells a whole company what I expect from them when their product caused a health scare and till this day my son is allergic to fish and we had no problems before. I also mentioned to them that their refrigerators have issues because I have bought fresh cuts of chicken trays and they were green underneath and sticky let me mention this happened on 2 different occasions. I don't like how my matter was just swept under a rug and not even receive the results of the product that they were supposed to do.
