Checkers - spoiled chicken

On Wednesday 25 November I traveled all the way from Atlantis after 5pm to purchase chicken and a few other groceries at Checkers Table Bay as it is cheaper than in Atlantis. However, upon arrival, there were only a few packs of County Fair Chicken instore. I purchased 4 packs of County Fair chicken, 2 packs of 6 drumsticks and 2 packs of 4 thighs. When I arrived at home, I open the packs of chicken to then make separate smaller portions and put them in plastic bags in the deep freezer. When I open the first pack of drumsticks I got an awful smell coming from the chicken. I then asked my mother in law to smell as well, and we agreed that something wasn't right. I then proceeded to open all the packs and smell then and 3 out of the 4 were very very smelly and the sell by date was only 25/11.

I am DEEPLY disappointed in Checkers Table Bay as I've always purchased chicken at this store and never had anything bad to say about it. I was even more disappointed as it is black Friday week and one would think that the service level and products on the shelves would be top notch considering that everyone is storming to get to the stores. Once again, I am deeply disappointed in this service. I expect a full refund for the chicken purchased.
