Checkers Sixty60 is a *********, beguiling service not worth using. It's like a ****.

Checkers Pretoria North has a habit of failing to honor/fulfill orders, despite the availability of stock, which has been proven several times, with the last two occasions over a 2 week period, being the most blatant. I ordered a casserole which was critically needed and despite the app indicating the stock as available before and immediately after my order was placed (and delivered), the casserole was not delivered to me, albeit being the basis of my order and subsequently causing a waste of delivery fees.. Within less than 5 mins of my order being delivered without the casserole, my daughter went into the store to find that much stock was available and she took photos accordingly. I reported this to customer care, but they did not give a damn. The same thing happened earlier today, whereby items that were the basis of my order, were not delivered to me, yet stock was available, allowing me to add the same items to my cart after my order was delivered without them... Similar items that were out of stock indicated accordingly, but those particular flavors were indeed indicated as available, yet not delivered to me. I am rather infuriated and disgruntled by Checkers ********* practice, which causes unnecessary costs to be incurred on consumers, especially if we are not vigilant enough to watch out for these sort of scenarios whereby consumers are beguiled. It equates to being ****med, in my opinion. If Checkers is reluctant to deliver certain items and/or breakables via their Sixty60 service, they should simply remove those items form their online stock sheets/app listings, so as not to beguile consumers. I find this practice to be rather manipulative, and a waste of delivery fees paid by consumers, especially since we tend to create orders around specific items that are urgently needed ie. We sometimes don't necessarily need the "added on" items, but we add them so as to create a reasonable order around the premise of the actual item needed, only to be denied receipt of same, without any valid cause/reason, thereby causing a waste of spendage.... Due to FALSE ADVERTISING, ********* practices, or laziness, or a lack of concern, or inefficiencyl!!!.Since the call agents are dismissive to these sort of grievances, I spoke to the regional manager, who referred me back to the Sixty60 call agents, albeit the call agents having failed to remedy the issue (frankly, did NOT care) and have also ignored my prior query, which to date, is unresolved after several weeks of having called in and sending photographic proof to all members. Checkers stocks seafood under the name of Cape Point, advertising (falsely again) that the prawns are cleaned (it states so on the packaging) despite being filthy and still containing their through guts and large pieces of shells and tails. Cleaning them is a tedious exercise & necessitates hours of patience and time, causing severe back ache, yet it is a service that we have paid for, in the price. Upon complaining to Checkers, they told me that they only consider obliging the consumers if the issue is reported within a 3 day period, as per their app, despite being against the National Consumer Protection Act which provides for 7 days allowance. Besides, when purchasing in bulk/placing very large orders, containing frozen products, the likelihood is that the frozen items may only be (attempted) to consume at a much later stage, since it's humanly impossible to consume R 2000.00 worth of foodstuffs in 3 days. Frozen items are bought to be frozen until needed. Therefore the 3 day period is not viable insofar as being reasonable regarding product quality of a certain nature. I've explained this to Checkers and they fail to collect the items as per my request, advising me to take them back to store, which defeats the purpose of using the Sixty60 service, if we are to (added to those fees paid & the losses incurred) still pay an Uber service to return the items, of which in many instances will defeat the purpose of the refund (or trying to obtain justice/fairness) due to the related costs placing one at a further loss. Checkers surely gets that it is not economically viable for consumers to bear the responsibility and burden of returning bad/poor products which they delivered in the first place and ought not to do so. It renders the Sixty60 service as useless to consumers. I am tired of explaining this to Checkers, in a bid towards resolve, for the past two weeks! They simply don't care and they don't deserve my business.... Which is a LOT!! What they do deserve is to be reported to The NCC and to have the public made more/fully aware of their devious practices, via social media platforms. They need to be stopped from beguiling consumers with false adverti*****ts via their packaging and via their Sixty60 apps.
