CHECKERS SHOULD CHECK THEIR SELL BY DATES ON THEIR MEATS!

I bought two packs of mutton/lamb bangers today at Checkers in Bloemfontein. The fact that it is on the shelf means that it is available for sale and consumption. However, to my disappointment, the sausage was sour and off. This is not acceptable. The consumer expects to buy fresh foods that are safe to share. Checkers should check their sell by dates, this is not the duty of the customer. The sell by date was dated 23/01/2022, but unfortunately, the food was bad on that last day. I am not happy. We bought food to cook for as part of a family celebration, a milestone and I was embarrassed to serve sour sausage.
