Checkers security a joke

On Monday, 7 September 2015 at app 16h50 my husband, 2 children & myself entered Checkers, Burgundy Estate. My handbag was on my left shoulder and 3 African ladies seemed to be all around me while I was distracted with shopping. A few minutes later I looked in my handbag and noticed it was open and that my brand new LG G4 was gone. We ran out of shop & tried to spot the ladies. We then went to the manager on duty and asked to see the camera footage.We were told that we are not allowed in the camera centre but that my 10 yr old could go and view the footage. I said there was no way she was going alone and my 14yr old son went with. After viewing the footage, the camera operator gave my children a disc of what they saw. (I have the video footage). I am extremely disappointed how this was dealt with as the operator was clearly viewing these suspicious ladies as they zoomed in on them and followed them. The video does not show my phone being ****** as no cameras where this happened but it is clear to see how they were following me in the shop. Checkers response is that they empathize but won't do anything & I must take up with SAPS. I had the phone 2 weeks and no insurance yet.
