Checkers Rivonia protect *******

I was pickpocketed by a gang of 3, at this branch on 21/04/16. I was standing at the tills waiting in line to pay. The gang managed to remove my R13k cell phone from my pocket but I was too quick for them. I assaulted the male ***** after his female accomplice passed my phone onto him. He dropped my cell onto a shelf. Despite calling ''security'' to assist, the manager and his guard allowed the three to melt away- probably to rob many others. My questions to Checkers senior management are as follows. 1. Is this type of ******** activity condoned in your stores? 2. If not, why were the 3 not detained for the SAPS to investigate? 3. If yes, please advise, so that I no longer shop with you. 4. Do Checkers prosecute shoplifters but elect not to protect their customers? Your manager on duty that night is pathetic and his apology is not accepted. I contacted Jonathan the next day and his excuses are not acceptable either. My phone has been damaged after this incident and I find that unacceptable. I presume your store has video cameras and that the video footage has been kept? What are Checkers going to do about this distasteful incident?
