Checkers Riverview Molding Confectioney

On the 20th of June I stopped in at Checkers Riverview,Corner Of Krugerrand and Riverview Shopping Centre, Florin Rd, Wilgeheuwel. I purchased a few items including two custard Danish from their bakery, which were inside the display case alongside all the other breads and confectionery. Upon arrival home I took a bite of this Danish only too find a living mass of mold and fungus. The Danish had so much mold inside it, the custard had completely hardened. I became violently ill due too this incident and have since contacted Checkers too bring this to their attention. I have been asked to send medical proof that these items made me ill, as well as receipts too prove that i required meds after my last visit too Riverside Checkers Granted I missed a managers call yesterday due to being busy at work, but the apathy shown by all involved is frightening. The fact these items are riddled with mold, sitting inside a heated display cabinet, alongside bread and other baked goods, once again in a heated area, ideal conditions for contamination of all items inside that display case. Surely this is a health hazard. I have been offered a R30 refund. Dear Checkers take your R30 and use it to buy some disinfectant
