Checkers -Reservoir Hills

Hi I bought some Rusks from Checkers in Reservoir Hills on Monday 18/01/2021. When I got home I realised it is actually their raisin bread they toasted and sold as rusks. The expiry date on the packet read 1/2/2021. Some slices had white mold on them. I immediately phoned the manager who was apologetic and offered me a refund and another packet of rusks. She told me she will investigate and get back to me. I never heard from her. During our challenging times with the pandemic it would be valuable if stores put life before profit. Checkers used to mark items down50% on due date. I don't see that happening anymore, I can only presume that they finding a way to use up and sell items differently.
