Checkers Plumstead poor Management
Hi, On the morning of the 23rd December 2018 I was going about my Christmas shopping and was in line to pay for my goods. Upon paying the cashier, I was told a R50 note which I gave her was stained and she would not be able to accept it. The supervisor was informed and then the manager (MR. SNYERS), who then told me "It does not feel right" (referring to the money in his hand and feeling it - as if trying to tell me it is counterfeit) in front of a store full of people and staff. As a regular consumer at the Checkers Plumstead Branch, Cape Town, I consider myself part of the family and would never expect this kind of treatment from such a prestigious retail chain store. Not only was I humiliated but also defamated and would be taking this matter up with the Department of Trade and Industry, As something like this should not be taken lightly.
MR SNYERS in a summary is unfit to perform the roll of a manager as he cannot even attend to the situations of his customers the way it should be attended to.
