Checkers Parow Created den for *******

Myself and my daughter shopped at Parow Hyper early evening yesterday, firstly the shop is in chaos. The thing furthest from my mind was that this was an unsafe environment from a security point of view. After being in the shop for mere minutes in the frozen food isle.My daughter shouted someone just touched her side, not knowing immediately that someone just took her mobile phone from her which was actually in a deep pocket and not visible. This a recent gift to her. We not rich and can’t afford to buy our kids mobiles just like that.Now she has nothing.My child running around in the store seeking to find the ********* is one of the biggest heartaches a mom can see.She was clearly in shock and ran around shouting. Supprisingly not one Checkers staff member or manager approached us to help. The staff and security just looked at us as if it was our fault.She went to the security at the one exit door and he said they have no CCTV to see what happened. He even asked my shocked child to speak on his radio and tell another security what happend, why?I realize now they could have closed the doors and search the store. I don’t believe the store has any emergency security procedures in place for this type of events. I will never shop there again,fearing my safety and that of my loved ones.Checkers and Paow Centre you should put up warning signs if you know of these activities taking place at your shops.Shame on you I don’t believe this is an isolated incident, you attracting proffesional *********.
