Checkers No Stock Of Detergents

I when into checkers overport city today the 24/11/2020 to purchase the detergent that was on special for black Friday and was told both the omo and Ariel have been sold out from yesterday the 23/11/2020. Which is the day the special started. I spoke to the staff to enquire about the special and when will they be re stocking I was told after the special is over I can come in and they should have stock.. How is it possible to have a special and not keep stock of the product.
