Checkers Mtubatuba - Service Excellence

I really wish to compliment, praise and also thank the Branch Manager of Checkers Mtubatuba, Siphiwe Khumalo, for his continued and ongoing "service par excellence".

Not only is he sincere, friendly and helpful but extremely professional and efficient. He manages his staff so effectively that this reflects in their customer service too, as they are also friendly, happy and helpful. He has created an amazing team spirit amongst the entire team and they respect and follow his leadership. From Sizwe Mkhumbuzi the Butchery Manager, to Mandla Gumede the Fresh Produce manager, to PK the Deli manager, to Gift Machinini the Liqour Shop manager to Ntuthuko Vilakazi the Sales manager to Jabulani Buthelezi, they all play an important role in the team which he directs. Even his Cashiers and packers are happy, friendly and eager to please.

Just last week, I had a query about 2 products which I was not able to find in Store. I simply sent him pictures of the items and within an hour he had given me feedback and in fact by the next day the one was already on the shelf and the other was on order.

Another thing I feel worth mentioning is how he managed the recent transition from Shoprite to Checkers so smoothly - the change wasn't that easy for anyone, staff and customers alike, but he managed to do it with ease, composure and confidence, which in turn instilled confidence in us as customers and we now love the new store and know that at any time we can turn to him or his staff members for assistance.

If ever there is an individual at Checkers that "goes the extra mile", that man is Siphiwe Khumalo - each and every day he lives up to the Checkers promise - No customer leaves the store unhappy !!!

Please may I request that this is forwarded to his Managers and that he is commended and rewarded for his effort and excellence accordingly.
