Checkers misleading public with promotions. Careful people

I wish to advise shoppers of checkers to be aware of the new specials of buy two get one free with checkers. On the 18th june i bought two nescafe classic coffees at checkers newtonpark. I paid and left. At home i saw the phamphlet saying buy to nescafe classic and get third one free. No one at the counter advised me. At pnpay with the same promotion they assisted me at the till and fetched my freebie if i did not get it. Checkers dont worry. The next day i went to checkers moffat on main and say on the shelf buy two robersons 200mg spices get a third free. I bought and checked out. I used my express card beliving i would get the promtion advertised. I paid and left. I came home and looked at my till slip. I was charged infull for all three spices none for free as advertised. I battle to walk so i complained on fb. Immediate responce from checkers. They asked for my info and blocked my complaint to the public to protect me . realy. Customerservice phoned me on sunday i explained what happened. Next a call from a manager at checkers 7th ave newton park. He sounded very agetated. Opening speach to me you have a complaint. I was told i must come in on sunday as the special ends on sunday. I said thats not convienient. I must travel specialy for 15km to sort out their mistake. He had a problem with me wanting to go inon monday. I went in and was given my free coffee begrugdingly. No call from maffat on main. No follow up call from customer care centre. Please be aware when paying at the till. Check your till slip to be sure you get the advertised promtion as checkers advertised but. You dont actually benefit as you pay for everything and no free bee as per adverts to draw the public in. Please be aware checkers draw you in with these fancy promotions and you might be paying full and no real benefit
