Checkers Misleading Advertising and Displays

Yesterday I walked into Checkers and upon arrival I saw two beautiful teddy bears on display. When I asked the closest attendant how much they were she answered R249. Looking at the price. Then I went over to a Supervisor and requested her to confirm the teddy's price. She took me to a manager (LA Eeq Ontong) who was arrogant and brazen that the teddy bear was only put up for display purposes. You see the teddy was dressed in full pajamas which made him attractive. I told Mr Ontong what is displayed with the price is what I want to pay for. He told me "I will not give it to you as it was displayed" I said that's really not the way. How do you advertise a teddy bear with a price in your display in a store and do not add in a disclosure note "excluding the pjs" for example? None of this was the case. He called the store manager who was even more ruder. Mr Francois Van der Merwe. He was simply worse worse that Laeeq and plain and simply rude. Telling me that it was on display and not listening at all to what my argument was. The price you see is thr price you pay. He refused the teddy bear and beckoned me on to reporting him. I took photographs of the teddy bears, thr one I had in my hand with them and the one still left on display advertised fully clothed in pj's at R249. Checkers hyper I spend thousands on you and so does my entire family I am appalled and quite disgusted in how you have treated me. Shame on you. I will never set foot in your store again and encourage people that I know not to shop by you either. My card number ***
