checkers make 2 year warranty out as one year

<p>Went to buy phillips kettle today at checkers tambotie mall randfontein.at the till the lady took out the booklet inside the box and write one year warranty on it, but on the box, it states there is a two year worldwide warranty on it, but for checkers it still means one year according the supervisor, the manager come and write two years and sing. just wonder what Philips reaction is going to be there whole marketing of their products not good enough for checkers. I asked for a refund because I can see if there will be a problem it would not be checkers problem after one year.<br />The thing what annoyed me the most is they give me only R200.00 cash back but I paid R275.91 with my card, so it cost me R75.91 not to do business with checkers. After being open just more than two weeks in tambotie mall Checkers is no longer on my list. Hope the R75.91 was justified for you to lose a loyal checkers/shoprite client.</p>
