Checkers Louis Trichardt meat not safe

I bought a oak smoked pork rib from checkers Louis Trichardt central. The meat was off, me and my wife got sick as we ate of it and did not immediately notice it. It was on the 24 of December and I did not keep the meat as I was not close to home and there was no use in driving around with it for 4 days. The quality control of checkers is very disappointing to me.
