Checkers Lorraine going the extra Mile

This morning I went to Checkers Lorraine in Port Elizabeth to purchase items on special. There were no stock of Hulletts Sugar or Cordon Bleau Margarine. I brought this under the attention of George v.d. Linde, Regional Manager, EC, as this was not the first time I had arrived at empty shelves, when it comes to their specials. Within an hour I had a call from Angelique at Checkers who advised me that they would deliver Housebrand Sugar and the margarine to my house at discounted price. I am difficult when it comes to non service delivery, however, I have to comment Checkers for going that extra mile in delivering customer satisfaction. This is something that Raymond Ackerman did many years ago to promote Pick n Pay and keep his customers coming back. Thankyou to Checkers Lorraine and George v.d. Linde for going that extra mile. I highly appreciate it.
