Checkers Kroonstad - Get your house in order!

This review is about a specific store - Checkers Kroonstad, Cnr van Zyl & Noord Ave, Kroonstad, 9499 Quiet days during the month you get there and there are too many tills open for the number of clients that want to pay, but then you get there on days that are normally busier than others and only 4 tills are open, clients cue into the shelves and shopping that should have taken 10minutes after work, takes you over an hour.

Being a daily customer and living in Kroonstad all my life, I know the staff working there, so would normally ask them and the manager to open more tills, or be in the long cue then phone them to ask about it. Yesterday was the last straw.

Between the shelves, there are people that normally work on the tills, either standing in the way of shoppers while visiting (all they needed was a coffee each) or in another isle it seems like they are chatting to each other on their phones, cause they all laugh at the same time, looking on their own phones, even had a few playing around behind the tills not even packing the customers plastic bags I phoned the store and asked to speak to the manager, they transferred me and I held on for 3 minutes then the call jumped back to the same rude lady, she wanted to transfer me again, but I told her not to bother as I am in the store and will go look for him myself and will definitely report this - I dropped the phone. 30 Seconds later the manager showed up and was swearing at the staff as if it all is their fault - where was he!?!?!?! Where is he when he is sitting in front of the tills and I go to ask for more tills to open - like I said it is a usual problem!

Standing in a row to pay is normal when doing shopping and ill accept having to be in a cue for a while if everybody is doing their jobs, but it ain't the 1st time and I believe you lead by example and WHAT YOU ALLOW WILL CONTINUE!
