Checkers Kenilworth Centre Cape Town , is Bad News

Checkers Kenilworth centre Cape Town. Yesterday I went to Checkers store in Kenilworth centre , hoping to buy some pork belly spare ribs which was advertised in the brochure . I checked in their fridges and found nothing , asked the butcher staff they said its on the shelf/fridge .

I then went back to the fridge with one of the butcher staff , even he could not find the belly rib in the fridge .He then said let me go check at the back for you. 15 mins later he come back and says we don't have stock , we haven't received the ribs yet. So now I'm feeling very angry cause I drove all the way for the rib special and his telling me this .....

I then asked to see the store Manager , he left and came back 10 minutes later saying the store manager is to busy now .

I said well then I will wait for him. Another 10 minutes went by , then a lady( Fatima Davids) appears from the office ,saying Sir how can I help you, so i tell the story that I'm looking for the belly ribs that is on special ,she says to me, let me go check at the butcher they order their own stock. At this stage I'm fuming with anger.

Fatima Davids comes back 15 minutes later and says the butcher don't have stock , it must still come but don't worry Sir its a two week special on the ribs

How can you advertise items that you don't have , this is so ********* and unprofessional for huge retailer like Checkers wow .

I think the store manger should be disciplined for failing to manage is store effectively.
