Checkers Hyper Sandton City

I am extremely disappointed and distressed by the poor service I received at Checkers Hyper Sandton City while purchasing balloons. The staff member assisting me, Thando Sodlaka, was rude and unprofessional when I politely asked for an extra metre to be added to the balloon strings because they were too short. She refused to help and then sent me to another till to pay for the balloon weight because she “had to leave.”

I raised the issue with the manager, Valerity, who confirmed that adding extra string was possible at an additional fee, but she then disappeared and never came back to assist us. We were eventually left standing there while the doors were closed on us.

What upset me even more was seeing another unhappy customer being reassured and assisted while my concerns were completely ignored. The service I received was dismissive, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I am unhappy with my balloons and the overall experience.
