Checkers Hyper - Menlyn Mall

I am quite unhappy with the service at the Fish department.

I wanted to order fresh fish from the Chap at the fish dept (his back was turned and he took forever to put on his food cap)

I waited patiently till he was finished. Then suddenly another female employee of Checkers Hyper came from the side, completely ignored me and had the audacity to jump in front of me standing first in line waiting to get help, she ordered a R10 packet of chips, the chap that works at the fish counter then helped her and also completely ignored me... I mean am I invisible?!

Then I got upset, quietly walked out of the shop straight to Food *****s Market and purchased my fish there.(Food *****'s staff was very helpful and friendly by the way)

So they lost a R600 sale of Fresh fish over arrogant employees that have no respect for the customers for a mere R10 chips.

I will not buy my monthly groceries from any Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Shoprite, or OK again because this is not the first time that I had a bad experience with this company.

There are lots of shops out there that have better quality products, and friendly, polite staff.
