Checkers Hyper- Galleria Mall They Lack Customer Service

<p>I had an encounter with Chantel Govender who works at the Checkers Galleria Mall. The store is generally busy daily I only had two items to cash and I asked her if I could please pay at the cigarette counter she advised I need to see the manager upon going there I didn't see the manager so I asked the cashier if it was possible to pay she said it's fine. There comes Chantel ranting and raving as it is not allowed I apologised for what had happen but she didn't seem to care. She spoke to me rudely and didn't even care as there was other customers behind me. She even said she has a good mind of refunding my items and making me stand in the long line to pay. Really now is that how Checkers Hyper - Galleria Mall treats their customers. She needs to go back into training on how to handle people.. Thereafter I met the manager who politely spoke to me and asked me not to worry as she saw me apologising to Chantel many times. Chantel needs to be disciplined and needs to learn customer care s****s as right now she's rude and arrogant.. I am dissapointed as I shop there daily. This is not the way to treat customers.</p>
