Checkers Herm**** Manager,Roelof Potgieter Refuse Account Payment

<p><span style="font-family: 'Avenir W01';"> Dear Whitey Basson,</span></p> <p>> I visited Checkers,Herm**** doing some shopping for the weekend.<br />><br />> I went to the money market counter to pay my DSTV as I always do,but the<br />> staff at the counter refused to take my card for payment?<br />></p> <p>This is a first and I asked why? The staff,nor the money market controller<br />could answer me!</p> <p>I proceeded to the managers office where the store manager of Checkers<br />Herm****- Roelof Potgieter advised me that he had an incident about three<br />weeks ago where a customer paid accounts with a Cape Consumer Card!</p> <p>I asked him what this has to do with me paying my DSTV,he said he doesnt<br />allow it anymore?</p> <p>Now I want to know the following?</p> <p>1. Where is the notice to inform customers?<br />2. Did Checkers Head office instruct this? I doubt it as I always pay my<br />DSTV the same way!<br />3. Where is the unity? Checkers as a group should have standard operational<br />processes which should be executed throughout the branches.</p> <p>This is very bad customer service!</p> <p>I want a clear,concise answer on the above.</p> <p>Kind regards,</p> <p>Advocate.S.Mynhardt</p>
