Checkers have done it again

Checkers have done it again. Or, do they have a magic crystal ball that dictates sales curves.

First they decided that Chocolate Ice Cream is not a South African favourite. So, what did they do? They removed it from their shelves. I now go to Pick 'n Pay to buy Chocolate Ice Cream.

Recently they removed their store branded mixers; "Eastern Highlands," from their shelves. It was the only SUGAR FREE mixer on the market and, at a reasonable price. Again, I now go to Pick 'n Pay to buy their product, although it is not as good as the Eastern Highlands brand.

I Checkers really trying to push customers to their competitors? Definitely seems so.
