Checkers Gordon’s Bay is Checked-mate

Entered Checkers Gordon’s Bay and this place smells like rotten drain/off fish. Eventually got my stuff and went to the till. As I got to the till, an unfriendly Checkers staff rocked up there and decided to buy R10 airtime. This took a while upon which I asked if it’ll go quicker at the kiosk. The cashier just nodded and I had to pack my stuff and go to the kiosk. As I got there, clearly no one was there.

Stood there for some time waiting for someone to arrive and voila! No one!

Decided to go to Woolworths instead.

Checkers should stop lying like a cheap clock with empty threats that they’ll be competition for Woolworths. They have an extremely long way to go for this to happen. That ever lasting rotten smell from Checkers stores and the entire workforce requiring training is no threat to Woolworths.

Even found better discounts at Woolworths.

Checkers Gordon’s Bay wasted my time once, and they’ll never get to see my money for that.
