Checkers Eikestad Mall

I have been meaning to write this review over a year ago. Each time I am thinking something will be different the next time I visit the mall. I am utterly disgusted by the poor and unprofessional service offered by the Checkers cashiers at Eikestad Mall. I cannot really pinpoint why they have such a terrible attitude, especially towards young black customers. Stellenbosch is a town of students, and a general observation of mine and personal experience is that they are impatient, rude, and very arrogant. They speak to you the way they like, get irritated when you don't respond in Xhosa, (as if all black people speak Xhosa), and just leave one with a very unpleasant shopping experience. They are not even efficient and drag their feet when you need assistance.

I would like to recommend that the store manager pay the Superspar in Simonwyk a visit and see how an efficient store runs, and also see how customers should be treated. I really hope something will change soon, it is really sad.
