Checkers Eco Boulevard in particular are making money indirectly at the costs of their cleints. They pretend to use their offline system as an excuse while enriching themselves.

On the 07/11/2017, I went to Checkers Eco Boulevard to draw money at the till point as my bank encourages us to use services like checkers to save money on fees. Around 13h11 I swiped my card, put in PIN code and as I was supposed to get the money they told me that the machine went off line and I must re-do the transaction. The lady asked me if I got the messages and said no at the time because of the sms time delay. At 13h12 I swiped again and the transaction was now declined due to insufficient funds. Immediately I got an SMS that the money has been reserved for purchases. I went back to the manager who said that the money will automatically be reversed, however in my case the money is not withdrawn. I showed them the Bank SMS notification and asked me to try again. Around 13h15 I went to a different till point, swiped again and got SMS that said declined insufficient funds. I was then told to go to my bank and sort it out. To my surprise when I check my bank statement and saw that reserved amount. Till today I have not received any refund or reversal of my money and they said. What makes me so upset is that I was sick that day and needed money for medication. Another thing is that this is not the first time it happened to me and some of my friends. So what is checkers trying to do? Is the money not enough for them to an extend of forcefully taking our money and blame it on the system? Is checkers running money making scheme? I need to know because this just too much and it must stop.
