Checkers do NOT give a toss about their customers!!!

Checkers do NOT CARE!! I have a reference number - 129879 for my complaint on their website on SATURDAY 24th but date I have received NOTHING, not a call, nor any sort of correspondence. UTTERLY disgusted by the non-caring at branch level and clearly at head office!!

My complaint below was posted exactly like that on their website - Hi there, I normally love shopping at Checkers and do so despite having a Pick n Pay loyalty card.

Today was a VERY unpleasant experience. I picked up a toilet cleaner off the shelf and didn’t expect it to be covered in the product as it should be clean when packed on the shelf. I got it all on the front of my top which is now totally damaged. I have pictures. The most grating part is that I was not offered so much as an apology, the floor staff told each other in hushed tones and actually laughed about it and other customers looked at me funny. No manager, no supervisor even came to me and even tried to apologize never mind compensate for my damaged top!!! This level of service is RIDICULOUS. My blouse is now bleach-damaged because someone got lazy packing your shelves!!! If I don’t get a response I’m taking this up with hellopeter and other social media platforms. I am in customer liaison and I don’t like to be threatened like that but I have no choice over here. Sue.
