Checkers: Cutting their nose to spite their face

I am very disappointed with the Checkers in Dorp street Stellenbosch. After spending just spend over R2000 in groceries at the so-called ‘flag-ship’ store of Whitey Basson, I was charged R10 for parking. (Really, is the ‘flag-ship’ store so frugal that it cant even offer free parking for customers?) Nonetheless, I got out the cash to pay, only to be informed by the parking attendant that they do not accept cash, I have to pay with card. Swiping my bank card for R10?? Whose going to pay the bank fees for that? Checkers?? Upon informing the parking attendant that I refuse to swipe my card, he said that my car will get clamped. Better and better?? No Checkers, this is a classical case of cutting your nose to spite your face. You won’t see me again. #Checkers #Stellenbosch #Disgusted
