Checkers Cresta selling expired goods

I bought some groceries at Checkers Cresta yesterday (20/05/2023). Out of the six items I purchased, two different items had passed the sell by date, i.e.,33% of my purchases. What is extremely scary is that these were 'Fresh' items: Fish from the Fish Shop and Mushrooms from Fresh Produce. One item might slip through checks, but two unrelated items indicate very lax procedures by the store. I consider this to be extremely dangerous to consumers, especially as the two items that were expired can easily go rotten. I am furious and intend to report this to the Health Department and am considering also speaking to a journalist who lives in my complex.
